GuardMyMac is built around your privacy: your data lives in your iCloud account, not on our servers.
What data is processed
Your Mac’s location (when you request it or on unplug) and security events (unplugs, locks, alarms). Stored in your private CloudKit database, inside your iCloud.
Who can see it
Only you, from your own devices with your iCloud account. We have no access to your data and no servers of our own. We share nothing with third parties.
Bluetooth
Presence between your Mac and iPhone is detected over Bluetooth Low Energy. No location is sent over Bluetooth.
Analytics
We use no analytics, advertising or trackers in the apps.
This website
This site uses no tracking cookies. It stores your language preference locally (in your browser); that is not tracking and is never sent to anyone.
